‘Deserves better’: Arsenal fans discuss Alexandre Lacazette, after lack of game time

Arsenal might have got their second win of the season at the weekend against Burnley but some Gunners fans are still baffled by some of Mikel Arteta’s decisions.

The Spanish coach has opted to play with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang down the middle so far this term. That’s meant no place for the likes of Lacazette, Nketiah, and Folarin Balogun.

But while Nketiah and Balogun might expect to be down the pecking order, the same can’t be said for Lacazette. And some Arsenal fans have been discussing his lack of minutes on social media.

Lacazette hasn’t featured in the last two games. Of course, both those games have ended in 1-0 wins for Arsenal. However, both games have been won by defensive nouse, rather than blistering attacking play.

The Gunners play local rivals, Spurs, this weekend. And with a lack of goals, some Arsenal fans believe Lacazette should come back into the fold.
