'Deserves better' - Fans react to Lucas Digne performance as Everton slump to Wolves defeat
Everton’s miserable form continued as they were seen off with ease by Wolves this afternoon at Molineux, with the Toffees barely troubling Rui Patricio in the Wolves net.
It was another poor day at the office for Carlo Ancelotti’s men, who seem resigned to looking at next season already.
The Toffees fans will have been disappointed to see their team capitulate like they have. Some of their big players once again went missing, as the likes of Alex Iwobi, Bernard, and Tom Davies all had particularly poor games.
However, among the poor performances, there was at least some solace with the display from Lucas Digne.
The French left-back has been one of the most consistent performers in the Everton ranks all season. Indeed, the likes of Manchester City are thought to be keen on him this summer.
Toffees fans, and some fans of other clubs, then, were quick to point out the quality Digne has compared to his teammates.
With that, here’s a look at some the latest fan reaction to Lucas Digne and Everton after their loss at Wolves.
Digne is the only sign of life in this Everton squad.

I’m Digne or Richarlison I’d be begging to leave Everton.

Everton's best player again today Digne, he's the main outlet, when he's moved into the left-back position and pushed on Everton have looked much better, first half at centre-back didn't work but he's the only one who can say they've played well for Everton, best player by a mile
