Derby County missed the chance to return to the Championship play-off places last night, drawing 1-1 with basement boys, Ipswich Town.
The Rams got off to the perfect start when Tom Lawrence fired them in front after two minutes.
Jon Nolan restored parity for the Tractor Boys, leaving Frank Lampard’s Derby dejected and frustrated.

With Middlesbrough losing at Sheffield United, Lampard’s team would have returned to the top six with all three points.
Ipswich were well worth their point though and they could have claimed all three towards the end of the contest.
Derby’s midfield at Portman Road was a pairing of Andy King and Bradley Johnson.
It was blatantly obvious that the duo had not played much football this season and they were overrun through the middle at times during the game.
Johnson, in particular, bore the brunt of some scathing criticism on Twitter for a performance that was way below par.

The 31-year-old has played just 14 games for the Rams this season and looked lost at times last night.
In previous campaigns, Johnson has been instrumental in the middle of the park, but last night certainly wasn’t the case.
Following a disappointing night for Derby, TBR Football rounded-up the very best tweets regarding Bradley Johnson’s performance…
