Derby fans react after Lawson makes his senior debut in goalless draw against Stoke

Youngster Jayden Lawson became the latest debutant for Derby County in their frustrating 0-0 draw against Stoke City last night.

Derby dropped further ground in the race for the Championship top six with a 0-0 draw at home to Stoke City last night.

Frank Lampard’s side have undergone something of a wobble of late but Bristol City’s failure to seize control of sixth spot in the league has left the race for that final play-off spot red-hot coming into the closing weeks of the season.

This is the time of year when the Rams usually fade away and Lampard’s task is to stop that now traditional meltdown happening again.

Getting into the top six is the minimum requirement for the Chelsea icon so his side need to start turning draws like last night into wins and increased firepower holds the key.

That got the fans excited on a night when perhaps there wasn’t too much cheer and we’ve put together some of the best reaction to Lawson’s cameo off the bench…
