Arsenal have named a 29-man squad for their pre-season tour to the United States of America. Unai Emery has selected a mixture of first-team players and youngsters for the trip to the US.
Among the players involved are Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding. Both are back in action after long-term injuries. But the headline story from this squad selection is the omission of Laurent Koscielny, who has refused to tour.
Another notable absentee is youngster Xavier Amaechi. While a number of his youth team colleagues have been taken, Amaechi has been left out of the touring squad.

The skilful 18-year-old winger caught the eye at youth level last season, scoring four and providing five assists in 14 Premier League 2 fixtures. He is being tipped for a bright future.
But the England U18 international will not join up with Emery’s squad despite being on the bench in the Europa League final. And Arsenal fans believe this could mean he is leaving.
Amaechi only has one year remaining on his contract and extension talks have not progressed. Here are some Arsenal fans fearing the worst after Amaechi’s omission.
