A number of Celtic fans have given their thoughts on the reports suggesting Vasilios Barkas is set for a £5million switch to Parkhead.
According to Herald Scotland, the AEK Athens ace will sign a four-year deal with Celtic today after they increased their original offer for his services and included a sell-on clause.
The 26-year-old is apparently travelling to Glasgow today and will put pen to paper if all goes well with his medical, added the report.

Barkas is a tall, skilled, highly rated and experienced yet relatively young goalkeeper with over 100 competitive appearances for AEK and a Greek championship on his CV.
In addition, the 6ft 5in ace has big-game experience, having played in the Champions League and having won 10 caps for Greece.
In 2018, Barkas helped AEK qualify for Europe’s elite competition with a superb performance in their playoff second leg against Vidi.
After the game, opposition coach Marko Nicolic said the 6ft 5in giant had been “fantastic” (Agona Sport).
In terms of senior goalkeepers, Celtic currently have just Scott Bain on their books, so there is a need to strengthen in between the sticks.
With numerous stoppers linked with the Hoops over the past few months, what have fans made of this reported development on Barkas?
