Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren sees his Anfield career as over and is willing to take a pay cut to seal a move to Roma, according to Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport.
They report that the Serie A club are trying to land either the Croatian international or Juventus stopper Daniele Rugani, but Paulo Fonseca prefers the experience of Lovren.
The report also says that Lovren views his Liverpool chapter as being over, as he looks set to go into the 2019/20 as fourth choice centre back at Anfield.
But it also says that he earns up to 5 million euros a year at Anfield, which works out as a shade under £90,000 per week, but is willing to take less money to force through his exit.

TBR’s View – An opportunity for youngsters to shine?
Lovren leaving would leave Jurgen Klopp with just three senior centre-backs – Joe Gomez, Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip – to get him through a gruelling season.
Last term, Fabinho was pressed into action at the heart of the Reds’ defence, indicating how injuries can rip through their backline.
If Lovren does go, plenty of emphasis may fall on Ki-Jana Hoever or Sepp van den Berg to step into the breach as fourth choice.
Both players have ability but it would also be a risk to throw them into the heat of a title race at such a young age.
