Dejan Kulusevski has shared what his Tottenham Hotspur teammates are always telling him he needs to improve.

Speaking to Tottenham’s media team after yesterday’s 3-3 draw at Manchester City, the Swede admitted he needs to work on arriving in the box more often.

Tottenham grabbed a point at the Etihad Stadium yesterday thanks to a last-minute Dejan Kulusevski header.

The 23-year-old put in another exceptional display as he started in midfield before moving out to the right-hand side in the second half.

Ange Postecoglou singled out the forward for praise after the game but admitted he would like to see Kulusevski score more often.

And it seems that Postecoglou isn’t the only one urging Kulusevski to get himself in the box more often.

Kulusevski shares what his Tottenham teammates tell him every day in training

Kulusevski has been speaking to Tottenham’s media team and talked through his last-minute equaliser yesterday.

The Swede arrived at the back post and beat Nathan Ake in the air after a delightful cross from Brennan Johnson.

His header flew past Ederson into the top corner and handed Spurs a well-deserved point. And Kulusevski has admitted his Tottenham teammates are constantly telling him to arrive in the box more often.

“I like how shocked I was,” he joked. “So, here’s the story. I think I have to improve to attack the box.

“Every day, not only the coach, but every player in the team kills me for it. So I went in, I attacked the ball and the rest just happened.

“I didn’t even see the goal because I was on the floor.”

Kulusevski has been a standout performer under Postecoglou so far this season. But if there’s one area of his game that requires improvement, it would be his finishing.

The Swede has netted four times this term, providing one assist along the way. Yet, he probably should have even more goal involvements to his name.

Nevertheless, it’s an area of his game that he’s aware needs improvement. And his teammates’ advice to attack the box paid off yesterday.
