Dejan Kulusevski has named Pepe Matar Sarr as the Tottenham Hotspur player who always gets roasted by his teammates.
Spurs look like a completely different side compared to last year – both on and off the pitch. Everyone looks like they’re having fun now since Ange Postecoglou‘s arrival, and that is a really good sign. Sarr is one of those players who always has a smile on his face.

Dejan Kulusevski says Pape Matar Sarr always gets roasted at Tottenham
Tottenham signed Pape Matar Sarr from Metz in the summer of 2021.
The youngster spent that season on loan in France before moving to Spurs 18 months ago. He started just five games last campaign, and not much was really expected of him this term.
However, Ange Postecoglou saw something in him in pre-season that really impressed him and Sare has become an integral member of the squad this season
The 21-year-old hasn’t just been amazing on the pitch, he’s extremely loved by his teammates off it too, so much so that they apparently always make fun of him behind the scenes.
When Dejan Kulusevski was asked to name the one player who always gets ‘roasted’ at Tottenham in their group chat, he told BBC Sport: “Emerson and Pape Sarr.
“Everybody’s joking with Pape Sarr all the time. Pape is just cute. He’s just an amazing guy, always smiles, just like a fantastic guy. Everybody likes his energy.”

Pape Sarr has been amazing this season
Pape Matar Sarr really has been a breath of fresh air at Tottenham this season.
The 21-year-old has kept Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on the bench for most of this campaign. He has been so good that there’s just no way back for the Dane now.
Tottenham fans love Sarr for who he is already and so do his teammates. However, there is so much more to come from him on the pitch. Postecoglou has already branded him as a ‘top player‘.
The youngster has almost everything in his game, and with Postecoglou’s trust in him, he has the potential to become one of the best midfielders in the Premier League in a few years.
