Tottenham might have lost to Manchester United this weekend but new signing Dejan Kulusevski appears to remaining confident in the club’s chances of making the top four.
Spurs’ defeat to United, coupled with the win for Arsenal against Leicester City today, has left Antonio Conte’s side some six points off the top four with a number of other teams scrapping it out as well.
However, while some at Tottenham and in the stands might be thinking the top four race is all but over for the club, new signing Kulusevski has taken to Instagram to post a defiant message. It comes just after Arsenal saw off Leicester too, in a sign Kulusevski is well up for the battle.

The January signing has made a big impact since arriving at Tottenham. He has played his part from wide areas already, contributing goals and assists and catching the eye in the impressive win at Manchester City.
He was replaced at Old Trafford last night but up to that point had been one of Spurs’ best players. Clearly, he is ready to battle and not give up on the Champions League places just yet.
TBR’s View: Kulusevski Now Key For Tottenham
In terms of January signings making an impact, you could argue that only Luis Diaz at Liverpool has done better since arriving at their respective clubs.
Kulusevski looks a shrewd acquisition for Spurs and over time he should prove a fine signing for the club. Certainly, Conte will be delighted with what he is seeing.
This sort of attitude is also what Conte will want to see. Kulusevski has plenty of talent, but having the fight too will be massive come May.
