Tottenham hammered Leicester 6-2 to go into the international break on a high and Dejan Kulusevski has been praising Rodrigo Bentancur.
Bentancur scored the crucial third goal for Spurs after half-time which put them in control and the Uruguayan midfielder is looking every bit the midfield player Antonio Conte wanted and needed at Tottenham. His goal was well-taken, while his performance overall in the middle of the park was superb.
And taking to his Instagram account after the game last night, fellow January signing Kulusevski lavished praise on Bentancur and labelled him ‘too strong’ in Italian.

Both Kulusevski and Bentancur have made a huge difference to proceedings at Tottenham since signing. The pair were brought to the club by Fabio Paratici as he knew them well from his time in Italy and it’s a move that’s certainly paid off for the Spurs transfer supremo.
Certainly, going forward into the next few months, Bentancur and Kulusevski will be key players. And with Heung-Min Son roaring back to form yesterday, Kulusevski will be more than aware of the need to perform when he gets the chance.
Bentancur, meanwhile, will simply need to keep performing at the level he is and impressing in midfield.

TBR’s View: Bentancur Proving A Brilliant Tottenham Signing
Sometimes certain players just settle into teams perfectly and Bentancur has done that with Spurs. He’s been outstanding since he arrived for around £21m and Spurs are a better team when he’s involved.
Yesterday was the ideal example of just how good he can be and if he can add a few more goals to his game as he demonstrated he can do against Leicester, then he’ll be a huge player all season long.
Bentancur and Kulusevski have been two fabulous Spurs signings and Conte will be hoping all his summer additions from this year can be just as effective.
