It’s a stressful time to be a Tottenham Hotspur fan right now, with their games always ending in dramatic circumstances.

After the disappointment of Wednesday’s win against Sporting being snatched away from them in the final seconds, they’ll be much more pleased today.

Antonio Conte will not be happy with the way in which his side went 2-0 down against Bournemouth yesterday.

Kieffer Moore punished Spurs’ slightly rotated defence by scoring his first Premier League brace.

However, a spirited performance in the final 30 minutes earned Tottenham a very important win.

Ryan Sessegnon and Ben Davies scored the goals that brought Spurs back on level terms.

But it was a composed volley from Rodrigo Bentancur in the final moments that sealed three points for Conte’s side.

Bentancur’s teammates Dejan Kulusevski and Cristian Romero were both very impressed with his performance yesterday.

The pair weren’t involved in the matchday squad, although Kulusevski did take part in an individual warm-up.

They watched on as Tottenham secured a dramatic win against a resilient Bournemouth side.

The Uruguayan took to Instagram after the match to deliver a positive update to his followers.

Bentancur said: “Great comeback in Bournemouth today! Nice to get on the scoresheet again.”

Kulusevski’s reply suggested he loved his teammates’ performance, while Romero simply applauded his efforts.

Uruguayan legend Luis Suarez even took the time to reply, saying: “Crazy thing! Two goals in a row? Congrats Rodri.”

The £20m Uruguayan midfielder has been one of Tottenham’s most consistent performers this season.

Owen Hargreaves has described him as a ‘fabulous’ talent, and he’s certain to play a big role in Tottenham next game.

Spurs travel to Marseille on Tuesday, knowing a draw will take them through to the Champions League knockout stages.

It’s all to play for in their group, with all four teams capable of qualifying.

Antonio Conte chose to rest some of his favoured starting line-up yesterday, and it nearly cost them.

He’ll be glad Bentancur put in such a strong performance throughout the 90 minutes.

Bentancur’s performance impressed Kulusevski and Romero, and he’ll be hoping his absent teammates are available again very soon.
