Everton prospect Ellis Simms is currently on loan with Hearts, who have a chance of winning the Scottish Cup in May.
They will take on Rangers at Hampden Park next month, and what a way to end his loan spell that would be for striker Simms.
Simms scored the opening goal in their semi-final win over Hibernian at the weekend and said he is open to staying at the club for longer, in an interview with Edinburgh News.

“It’s about the pathway for me. I would be open to it, definitely,” he said.
“It’s out of my hands. I’m owned by Everton so it’s up to them where my next step is.
“I’ve enjoyed my time here, I’ve loved it. I’m here to play games and win matches. I will have to sit down with the Everton staff and my agent. It’s not entirely down to me, but so far I have enjoyed every minute here at Hearts.”

Simms is one of the hottest players to come out of Everton’s famous academy and this loan has seen him come into his own.
Everton could do with some firepower, but right now, it is not even clear which division they will be in next season, at this stage.
If they are a Championship club, Simms might have more prospect of action, but otherwise, another loan or even a permanent exit might be the right approach.
