'Definitely an upgrade', 'get him in Levy': Some Spurs fans wowed after hearing who reportedly wants N17 move
Spurs fans have welcomed the prospect of Takehiro Tomiyasu joining the club.
Multiple reports suggest Tottenham are closing in on the signing of the 22-year-old defender.
Fabrizio Romano claimed last night that Tomiyasu wants to join Spurs.
And Calciomercato recently reported that the player has agreed personal terms with Tottenham.
According to their report, Spurs are only £1.7 million off Bologna’s asking price.
Tottenham have offered £15.4million, while the Serie A club wants £17.1million, claimed Calciomercato.

Have Spurs already found Alderweireld replacement?
Tomiyasu has plied his trade for Bologna since 2019, when he joined from Belgium’s Sint-Truiden for a reported £6.3m.
He has made 63 appearances in red-and-blue, registering three goals and three assists.
In addition, Tomiyasu has won 23 caps for Japan and is set to compete at the Tokyo Olympics this summer.
Prior to joining Sint-Truiden, he came through the ranks at hometown club Avispa Fukuoka.
As a right-footed centre-back who can also play at right-back, Tomiyasu could potentially replace Toby Alderweireld.
The Belgian is reportedly looking to leave Spurs this summer.
