Journalist Dean Jones has told GiveMeSport that World Cup star Sofyan Amrabat is readying himself for a move, after claims Antonio Conte wants him at Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs have reinforced their midfield options twice during Conte’s time at the club, bringing in Yves Bissouma over the summer after Rodrigo Bentancur made the switch from Juventus back in January.
Bissouma seems to be settling into his role at Spurs and put in some promising displays before the World Cup break. Bentancur has been a revelation in midfield alongside Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
But Tottenham are seemingly still in the market for another midfielder and have been linked with a move for Amrabat once again.
The £26 million man received interest from Conte back in January but the club ended up signing Bentancur instead. Fabrizio Romano claimed this week that the Spurs boss actually wanted the Moroccan at his old club Inter Milan.
Now, Amrabat is readying himself for a move away from Serie A outfit Fiorentina in January.

Amrabat wants to move
Jones told GiveMeSport that Amrabat is setting his sights on securing a big move after the World Cup.
“One thing about Amrabat is he definitely seems to be using this tournament as a springboard for his career,” he said.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he did have sights now on getting a move.”
Spurs fans were largely underwhelmed when their club was targeting Amrabat nearly a year ago.
But the 26-year-old has really impressed for Morocco at the World Cup and helped them knockout Spain in the last-16.

Joe Cole recently named him as the World Cup’s best holding midfielder and he is now attracting interest from Liverpool, as well as Spurs.
The Fiorentina man will be hoping to help Morocco cause another huge upset today as they face Portugal in the quarter-final.
While Amrabat would be a good addition to Conte’s squad, he’s a very similar player to the options the Italian already has in midfield.
Spurs seem to be in need of a more creative midfielder and Amrabat certainly isn’t this type of player.
