This summer saw Celtic lose one of their star players with Dedryck Boyata’s exit from Parkhead.
The Belgian international joined German side Hertha Berlin on a free transfer after Celtic failed to secure a new deal for the 28-year-old.
His exit came after four successful years at the club and 12 months on from his first attempt at leaving the club. Boyata, fresh off of an impressive showing at the World Cup with his nation, missed a crucial Champions League qualifier with AEK Athens as he attempted to force through a move.
Celtic are coping without him, although have had their issues with centre-backs this season.

Meanwhile, Boyata has played his way into the Hertha starting XI following a thigh injury at the start of the season.
Yesterday, he managed to mark his first-team appearances with a first goal for the German club.
Boyata headed home the fourth goal in a 4-0 win for the capital club away to FC Koln. Boyata certainly likes making a good impression early with his new clubs. He scored on his debut for Celtic back in 2015 and went on to score a healthy 15 goals at the club, not bad for a central defender.
Hertha Berlin will be hoping he can be a similar threat in Germany.
As for Celtic fans, as annoyed at they were with his antics at the start of last season not many will begrudge him any future success in the German capital.
