Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has sung the praises of West Ham United winger Jarrod Bowen.
The Gunners ace, speaking to ESPN, says the Hammers ace is one of several English players “playing really well” ahead of Euro 2024.
Bowen is in absolutely outstanding form for West Ham, having registered 14 goals in 16 Premier League outings this term.
The £22million man took his tally to 14 in the top flight thanks to a hat-trick in the Hammers’ 4-2 win over Brentford on Monday night.
Bowen is now just two goals away from equalling Paolo Di Canio’s club record of 16, which was set in the 1999-2000 season.

Only Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah – both in title contention – are ahead of the 27-year-old West Ham man in the league scoring charts.
At the end of the season, Rice is likely to be on the plane to Germany for Euro 2024, and Bowen will be hopeful of taking part his first major tournament for England.
With so many talented players available to Gareth Southgate, there will likely be talk of the Three Lions challenging for – and potentially winning – their first major international trophy for 58 years.
“I feel like it is the conversation every time a tournament comes around,” the Arsenal star said. “A lot of players are obviously playing really well.
“So many players in the Premier League: Jarrod Bowen at West Ham, Ross Barkley at Luton, Cole Palmer [Chelsea], Curtis Jones [Liverpool], so many players playing well.”

Bowen has won just five caps for England, but considering his outstanding goalscoring form, it would be a travesty were he to miss out on a place at Euro 2024. He should be there on merit.
Let’s see what happens in the coming months. For now, West Ham – and of course Arsenal – have a lot of work to do.
The Hammers will hope to progress further in the Europa League and climb up the table, perhaps seal another European spot.
Meanwhile, Rice’s Arsenal are fighting for the Premier League title and will look to overturn a 1-0 deficit in their Champions League last-16 tie against Porto.
