A number of England teammates replied to Kalvin Phillips’ latest Instagram post reflecting on the international break, with Declan Rice lauding the Leeds United star with a two-word response.
Phillips enjoyed a very productive time away with the national team. The 25-year-old started all three of the Three Lions’ World Cup qualifiers, seeing out the 90 minutes against both San Marino and Poland.

It was not the easiest time for Gareth Southgate’s men. But, on paper, they could not have got off to a better start, winning all three games.
There were certainly some bright moments for Phillips. But he also had to deal with playing in a slightly different role to the one he used to at Elland Road.

For starters, Southgate tended to start him alongside Rice. And while the pair were predominantly asked to play in a holding role, it was often Phillips who pushed forward when a change was needed.
There were flashes of what Phillips could potentially do as more of a number eight. And the Leeds man will be hoping that he has done enough to secure his spot in the Euro 2020 squad.
It certainly appears that Phillips is a popular member of the group. The Whites star took to social media following Wednesday’s win over Poland to comment on the break as a whole.
And in response, the likes of Jude Bellingham, Raheem Sterling and Mason Mount sent messages of support.
