Tottenham Hotspur ace Tanguy Ndombele has been praised by West Ham star Declan Rice, who described the Spurs man as “so good”.

The 24-year-old midfielder is in amazing form at present, his maiden-season issues at Tottenham now a distant memory, and was especially scintillating against Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs ran out 3-1 winners at Bramall Lane and the hosts had no answer to Ndombele’s passing, link-up play and engine, not to mention his spectacular third goal, an improvised lob over Aaron Ramsdale.

And Rice admits that Ndombele is a player he always tipped for success in the Premier League, also sharing how fondly the Spurs players on England duty talk about him.

“Ndombele, when I watched him at Lyon I said this guy will kill the Premier League,” he said on Instagram (via The Spurs Express Twitter).

“It’s taken him a year to adapt for whatever season, but he’s so silky, he’s so good and all the Spurs boys in England say he’s unbelievable as well.”

Ndombele is a player of the highest calibre, his exploits with Lyon leading to Spurs spending a club record £63million on him, and after his difficult first season, he’s now finally in top form.

The £200,000-a-week ace has turned doubters into praisers, and no doubt there is more to come from him as Tottenham look to finally get their hands on silverware for the first time since 2008.
