Aston Villa boss Dean Smith believes the England success of Tyrone Mings this season is a clear indication that Jack Grealish does not need to leave the club to secure his international bow.
The attacking midfielder has been in fine form in recent weeks and continued that form with a stunning performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford yesterday.
Grealish scored the opening goal of the game with a sublime right-foot curling effort and had United on the backfoot for the majority of the game.

Despite his good form, Grealish has not been included in any of Gareth Southgate’s England teams so far this season.
It was suggested to Smith by a BBC reporter that Grealish might need to leave Aston Villa in order to finally get the international call-up he deserves.
However, the Aston Villa manager disputed that claim, suggesting Tyrone Mings’ recent involvement with England suggested otherwise.
“I don’t agree with that (that Grealish needs to leave). Tyrone Mings is in the England squad and during international weeks we have 12 players away.
“He just has to keep doing what he is doing.
“He’s pushing the people who choose the squad every time he pulls on a Villa shirt and that goal topped it. What he needed to improve on was goals and assists and he’s starting to do that now. For the first half of the game he was controlling it.”
TBR’s View
The difference between Mings and Grealish, unfortunately for the latter, is that England are struggling at centre-back at present whilst their attacking midfield options are strong.
Grealish is up against the likes of James Maddison, Mason Mount, Dele Alli, Ross Barkley, and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in his position. As good as his performances are for Aston Villa that is some tough competition.
However, if he keeps performing as he has been in recent weeks, there is no doubt that an England call-up should be around the corner for the Aston Villa captain.
