Sheffield United have managed to get another loan deal for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson close to completion, according to the Daily Mail.
They report that the Blades and United have been haggling over a loan fee, which had caused the trail to run slightly cold, but the issues appear to have been ironed out.
And the report also says that the club hope to make an announcement within 24 hours, as Henderson dropped a hint on his Instagram that he is soon to move back to Bramall Lane.
Henderson looks unlikely to dislodge David de Gea for the time being, so it makes sense for him to go out and get Premier League experience.
This one has looked to be on the cards all summer but whispers that Sheffield United were on the trail of other goalkeepers had started to emerge in recent days.
It makes sense for all parties for Henderson to go back to Bramall Lane on loan and in truth, it’s silly of United to have been haggling over what can only be a matter of a couple of million pounds at most.
Henderson can get himself into Gareth Southgate’s England squad if he continues to impress when he’s in the top flight.
