'Deal finally signed': Fabrizio Romano claims Arsenal have just made a new signing
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Arsenal have got the Marquinhos deal over the line.
He took to Twitter on Friday reporting that the Gunners have signed the Sao Paulo gem on a five-year deal.
Arsenal have agreed to sign Marquinhos for a fee in the region of £3million, added Romano.
Here’s what the transfer guru wrote on Twitter:
Sao Paulo president Julio Casares all but confirmed the teenager’s departure earlier this week.

Football.london quotes him as saying: “The Marquinhos issue is a well-known issue. He didn’t want to stay.
“We tried everything. Even before the game against Racing, he didn’t want to stay. It was a contractual issue.”
Marquinhos looks set to become Edu’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of goalkeeper Matt Turner.
The 19-year-old is a winger who can also play up front.
Marquinhos’ preferred role is wide out on the right so he can cut inside on his favoured left foot.
Arsenal have reportedly signed him up as one for the future.
In addition, his arrival will not have an impact on the Gunners’ main summer transfer plans.
Arsenal are reportedly looking at numerous players in several different positions across the pitch.
A striker is a necessity, and the Gunners are apparently also eyeing a new central midfielder.
