David Villa responds to Jack Harrison's Instagram post after Leeds win
David Villa was amongst those to reply to Jack Harrison’s Instagram post following Leeds United’s 2-0 victory over Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
Harrison produced another outstanding display as Leeds beat the Terriers at Elland Road. Marcelo Bielsa’s side are now top of the Championship and seven points clear of Fulham in third.
It was Harrison who provided the assist for the opening goal against Danny Cowley’s side.
The winger found Luke Ayling with a cross towards the back post, and the right-back took advantage with a brilliant volley.
It was Harrison’s seventh assist of the season. He has also scored five times for the league leaders, meaning he has already had a direct hand in five more goals than he managed last season.
He almost added a sixth on a couple of occasions.
Ayling turned provider for the winger during the first-half, but his own volley went agonisingly past the post.
And like Hull the previous week, he hit the woodwork with a stunning effort during the second half.
Harrison has been a revelation all season. But it is now that he is arguably playing his best football yet.
And he appears to have received the approval of former New York City teammate David Villa, with the striker issuing a brief response to Harrison’s post on Instagram…
