Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seamen would not be opposed to seeing Tottenham Hotspur lift the Champions League this season.
Spurs advanced through to the quarter-finals of the competition after beating Borussia Dortmund 4-0 over two legs.
Harry Kane’s winner at Westfalenstadion means that the north Londoners are the first English team into the last eight.

They played brilliantly over the two legs and confidence will surely now be surging.
Since it’s their last hope of silverware, there’s a genuine chance Tottenham can raise their game and make a good go of the competition.
And it would seem they have an unlikely supporter in ex-Gunners legend Seamen.
‘I would want the English team to win’
In what is sure to infuriate Arsenal fans far and wide, Seamen declared he wouldn’t mind seeing the Lilywhites go all the way in Europe’s most prestigious club competition.
He said on talkSPORT on Wednesday morning: “No seriously, I swear, I would want them to win. If they were in a final against a foreign team I would want Tottenham to beat them, no doubt about that.

“Say Tottenham were playing Bayern Munich, Barcelona, whoever – I would want the English team to win.”
His patriotism will certainly not go down well with a fair few Gunners here.
They surely do not want to hear their ex-goalkeeper championing their bitter rivals, while they compete in Europe’s second-rate competition the Europa League.
