David Seaman wants Arsenal to be in the mix to sign Jude Bellingham and he thinks the Gunners have a realistic chance. The Dortmund star is currently playing for England at the World Cup in Qatar and is attracting vast interest.
Bellingham is an unbelievable talent. He scored for England during their 6-2 win over Iran in their Group B opener and also started the game as the Three Lions drew 0-0 with the USA on Friday.
The youngster is attracting interest from the Premier League. Both Liverpool and Manchester City have been linked and he could cost £100 million to any team willing to sign him.

At 19-years-old Bellingham is well on his way to stardom. During 2022/23, he’s scored 10 goals and claimed four assists for the Bundesliga giants and is now a mainstay on the international stage too.
Seaman thinks that Bellingham is a realistic addition for Arsenal. The Gunners are top of the Premier League with a five-point lead and will likely go in search of some new players during January.
The former Arsenal goalkeeper told the Daily Express: “Arsenal, hopefully. I would like to think they’ve got a realistic chance of signing him but it depends on how they finish the season.
“It’s so weird that we’re almost halfway through a season and we’ve paused it, with players still to go back. I would love to see him at Arsenal. He’s a special player. He looks like he’s been playing for England for the last 10 years. He’s so special for his age.”
Seaman wants Arsenal to sign Bellingham
It’s hard to imagine Arsenal being a realistic option for Bellingham. Although the Gunners are enjoying a sound campaign, the midfielder will likely head to a club that play regularly in the Champions League.
At this stage, Arsenal can’t be considered that club. In a few years under Mikel Arteta, they might well be attracting someone of Bellingham’s ilk, but right now they could be struggling.

The teenager may need some convincing over Arsenal and their longevity. Arteta hit the jackpot with the transfer market during the summer and he’s got his team playing some really good football.
Seaman, however, seems to be getting carried away. Arsenal forking out to sign Bellingham would be a real longshot. As a result, it seems as though other Premier League clubs are more advances to land him.
