David Seaman has shared what he thinks is really ‘strange’ about Arsenal right now.

The Gunners have been flying in recent weeks and have picked up five consecutive wins in the Premier League.

After struggling to find the back of the net over the festive period, Mikel Arteta’s men have bagged 21 times in their last five games.

The likes of Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz have all caught the eye in the final third.

And following all the talk of needing a new striker in January, Arsenal have found a way to share the goals amongst the team.

And David Seaman has admitted he finds it ‘strange’ to see different players popping up with goals each week at Arsenal.

Seaman on what’s ‘strange’ about Arsenal right now

Speaking on Seaman Says, the Arsenal legend shared what he has found really odd about the Gunners’ recent upturn in form.

“Yeah, his [Declan Rice’s] set pieces and his deliveries have been brilliant,” Seaman said. “But, it’s strange because it is like a lot of different goal scorers. You’re looking at Saka, you’re looking at Odegaard.

“Trossard, Havertz, a lot of them are chipping in with goals like against West Ham, it’s not just one player, it’s looking really good.

“And that’s without Jesus being fit, and then Eddie Nketiah comes on for the last 20 minutes or so and he doesn’t get in amongst the goals, it’s all the other guys who are scoring. It is looking really good.”

While sides usually benefit from having at least one talisman in their squad, it’s not exactly required to win a league title.

Pep Guardiola’s men won the league after losing Sergio Aguero but have since brought in Erling Haaland.

Arsenal are in fine form right now and Arteta won’t mind the fact that his side is sharing the goals amongst themselves.
