Arsenal are through to the Champions League semi-finals after getting the better of Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
After Arsenal ran out 3-0 winners over Real Madrid last week, they went on to beat Los Blancos 2-1 at the Bernabeu for a 5-1 aggregate win.
Ahead of the game, the Gunners were put under pressure by Real Madrid, with Jude Bellingham speaking of their desire to mount a “remontada”.
However, this failed to materialise as Arsenal struck through Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli, which rendered Vinicius Jr’s 67th-minute goal a mere consolation.
Arsenal legend David Seaman has now delivered his verdict on the Gunners’ performance against Real as he shared what he loved the most about his former side’s display.

David Seaman wowed by Arsenal masterclass in ‘art of defending’
Seaman, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, explained how Arsenal did something that’s happening less and less and less these days – a defensive masterclass.
Mikel Arteta’s side restricted the Champions League holders to just three shots on target in the second leg at the Bernabeu.
“What I love about it most was that it was a display in the art of defending which has been getting lost in recent seasons,” Seaman said, as per BBC Sounds.
“To restrict Real Madrid like they did was fantastic to see. It was a massive statement from the lads and I was just so proud.”
David Seaman’s warning for Arsenal ahead of Paris Saint-Germain clash
Arsenal’s reward for dethroning last season’s Champions League winners is a semi-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG have already seen off Premier League sides Liverpool and Aston Villa, and Seaman reckons they will provide a sterner test for Arsenal.
“The semi-final is going to be harder than what Real Madrid offered because PSG are a very organised team now,” Seaman said.
“When I saw them play Liverpool I thought ‘that is some standard’ if they are doing that to our champions.
“They are going to be very hard to beat but these European nights at the Emirates are fantastic and that is what the stadium needs.
“It’s a fantastic time at the club but we have to make sure we get through the semi-final and hopefully win it from here.
“Because it [beating Real] will get forgotten if we just go out in the next round.”
The first leg ties will be played on 29-30 April 2025, while the return legs will take place on 6-7 May 2025.
