David Seaman says Leeds United man needs to calm down, he’s been acting really ‘weird’ recently

David Seaman has had his say on Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch and his behaviour on the touchline.

Marsch has had a touchline ban this season and has repeatedly complained about timewasting by opposition teams.

The American masterminded a hugely impressive victory over Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday night and will be looking to back it up against Bournemouth this weekend.

Seaman on Marsch

Speaking on his Seaman Says podcast, the legendary goalkeeper wants the Whites boss to reign it in somewhat in the coming months.

He said:”I still see hm on the touchline and I don’t know what it is.

“But at the moment it’s like: ‘calm down a bit’.

“I want to say it’s passionate, but it just seems over the top.

“It seems weird the way he reacts on the touchline.”

The performance and result at the weekend showed that Leeds’ players are still giving everything for their manager, who is under pressure.

They will need that fighting spirit in the games ahead as they look to build some momentum going into the World Cup.

Does Marsch need to calm down? Perhaps, and he will not want any more touchline bans but these things tend to be highlighted as issues when you’re not winning, and not so much when results turn for the better.
