Arsenal legend David Seaman has showered Gabriel Martinelli with praise after the Brazilian’s fantastic performance against Liverpool on Sunday.
The 21-year-old scored a goal and picked up an assist in what was truly a sensational display. It was arguably his best performance in an Arsenal shirt, and he has been getting plaudits from all corners of the country over the last few days.

David Seaman says Gabriel Martinelli is always talking to young players at Arsenal
Seaman is a regular at Arsenal’s training centre in London Colney. He does some coaching work with the younger players, and he has now revealed what he has spotted Martinelli doing all the time.
The legendary Englishman said on his Seaman Says podcast: “He’s (Martinelli) a really nice guy. When I go in [to the club] he is always with the young lads, always around them and saying hello.
“To see him performing as he is, it’s brilliant. He’s playing without fear and he’s really causing problems. He was causing problems to Trent Alexander-Arnold and the whole Liverpool defence.
“Both of them [Saka and Martinelli] were attacking the wings almost at the same time. They know if one goes down the wing, that the cross will come in.
“The second goal was brilliant, a great move.”

TBR View:
Almost everyone in and around Arsenal who speaks about Martinelli raves about how humble he is. He’s well-liked by everyone at the club and is an absolute fan favourite on the pitch.
The young Brazilian has now scored four goals and provided two assists in nine Premier League starts. He has been a threat every single time and has formed a fantastic partnership with his compatriot Gabriel Jesus in the attacking third.
Everything’s going well for Arsenal at the moment. Almost every player is performing at a really high level, they are on top of the league table, and there really is no obvious weakness in their side.
It really is a great time for Arsenal fans, and if Martinelli and co keep firing, they could go on and achieve something really special this season.
