Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has now sent a message to a player Mikel Arteta would definitely like to sign in the near future.
Arteta’s side returned to winning ways yesterday with an emphatic 5-0 win over Crystal Palace.

And whilst a lot of the praise will go to Arsenal’s pulsating front line and attacking play, they have a lot to thank their goalkeeper for.
Not only was David Raya brilliant in his shot-stopping, but the goalkeeper produced a masterclass with his distribution, something Arteta celebrated in some style.
And whilst Arsenal fans will thank Raya for his display, a player it’s not been easy for, fans may be even more grateful for a relationship he still holds with a certain player.
Ivan Toney made his long awaited return for Brentford yesterday, scoring the opener in their 3-2 win.
Alan Shearer was blown away by his performance, a striker who looked like he’d never been away.
And it seems that David Raya certainly wasn’t going to miss his former teammate’s display, either.
Arsenal’s David Raya sends message to Ivan Toney after impressive return
Raya took to Instagram after Toney’s goal to celebrate the £100m striker’s successful return.
The goalkeeper posted a video of Toney’s free-kick on his story with the caption: “Never in doubt.”

Clearly Raya backs Toney’s ability to no end, a player he would therefore surely love to arrive at the Emirates.
Incidentally, the duo do also have a great relationship on the field too.
Raya completed more passes to Toney than any other goalkeeper and striker combination last season.
And if Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta needed any more reason to sign Ivan Toney in January or the summer, Raya’s partnership with the striker should be a clear message.
It shouldn’t be a surprise that Arsenal returned with a bang yesterday – their downward spiral was always exaggerated.
And it does still feel as if Arteta’s side have their ambitions with their own hands with so many games left to play.
