Former Leeds United midfielder has stated which of Eddie Nketiah and Patrick Bamford he expects to start up front for his old club when they take on Birmingham tomorrow.
As per Sky Sports, Prutton said the Whites will be looking to bounce back from their away defeat at Millwall last time out and has given an insight into how he sees Marcelo Bielsa’s thinking.
He said: “Leeds have had a couple of weeks to dwell on that fairly unfortunate defeat at Millwall, and they will be keen to bounce back.
“Eddie Nketiah impressed again for England Under-21s but you reckon Marcelo Bielsa will stick with Patrick Bamford again up front. 3-1.”

TBR’s View – Bielsa is set on Bamford, but Nketiah is a natural goalscorer
Even if it wasn’t the most beautiful hat-trick of all time, Nketiah’s midweek exploits only ramp up the pressure on Bielsa to start him.
The Argentine spent big on Bamford in his first summer and seems determined to give him plenty of gametime now he’s fit again.
But Nketiah has that natural eye for goal, is brimming with confidence and could be the man to convert the chances that frequently go begging at Elland Road.
Leading the line for a huge club in the promotion race is a big ask for a young striker, but Nketiah right now is the man in form and deserves a start. Prutton is probably right though, to expect Bamford to start.
