Arsenal are set for a busy end to the summer transfer window, with at least one more incoming and one more outgoing on the cards.

The Gunners have made one senior signing so far, bringing Riccardo Calafiori to the Emirates Stadium from Bologna.

Meanwhile, several Arsenal first-teamers have moved on from N5, including Emile Smith Rowe, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga.

Over the coming days, the Gunners look set to complete the signing of Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad.

As for more outgoings, Eddie Nketiah looks set for a move away, and David Ornstein has now shared a significant update on the player.

Arsenal set to accept Crystal Palace bid for Eddie Nketiah

The Athletic journalist has taken to X to say Arsenal are now expected to accept a bid worth an initial £25million from Crystal Palace for Nketiah.

The deal also includes £5million in potential add-ons, taking the total value to £30million. This is similar to what Nottingham Forest had in place.

Arsenal and Palace are now in direct talks over Nketiah, who should have no issue in accepting personal terms, added Ornstein.

Eddie Nketiah looks set to stay in Premier League and in London

Arsenal have been trying to get a deal over the line for Nketiah, and it looks as though it’ll be third time lucky for the Gunners forward.

Nketiah had previously agreed personal terms with Marseille, but the French Ligue 1 side couldn’t match the Gunners’ asking price.

It looks as though the opposite was the case with Forest, namely that had agreed a price with Arsenal but not personal terms.

Now, as per Ornstein’s update, Arsenal look set to come to an agreement with Palace, and personal terms shouldn’t be a problem.

This would mean that the “fantastic” Hale End graduate will not only continue his career in the Premier League, but he also gets to stay put in London.
