Arsenal are enjoying a great season, sitting top of the Premier League table and reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
With the summer transfer window now on the horizon, it’ll be interesting to see what the Gunners have in the pipeline with regards to new signings.
Arsenal, like many other Premier League teams, didn’t really do much in the January transfer window due to FFP constraints.
Although the Gunners boast an impressive attacking selection in their ranks, there’s certainly scope to bring in new recruits up front.
A new striker is likely to be on the Arsenal summer agenda, as they don’t really have an out-and-out No. 9 as a focal point of attack.
In addition, the Gunners could well look to bolster their ranks on the flanks, bringing in players equal or better in quality to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

David Ornstein, one of the best journalists in the industry, has now shared what he knows about Arsenal’s striker search at this moment in time.
What has David Ornstein said about Arsenal striker search?
In his latest Q&A on The Athletic, a Gunners fan asked Ornstein whether the north Londoners have a preferred option they’re looking at in the summer.
“As with most clubs and positions on the pitch, there will be varying preferences internally and Arsenal will need to come to a firm consensus before proceeding,” replied Ornstein.
“I’m not aware of this happening yet but that’s fairly normal at this stage. Someone like Declan Rice was an exception, as he was the unanimous top choice and main target.
“There will be so many factors and variables involved in the decision. As previously reported and widely documented, the likes of Sesko and Gyokeres are well thought of.
“As is Ferguson but the price Brighton would want and the season he has had so far perhaps makes him less likely at the moment. I don’t see it being an Osimhen or Toney.
“There will be other options too. I’ve seen Isak linked and obviously Arsenal went for him in the past, but I don’t have any information on that at this point.”
