West Ham could well move to sack manager Manuel Pellegrini and replace him with David Moyes.
Pellegrini is under growing pressure from the Hammers board after a miserable season so far. West Ham sit just one point above the relegation places after another loss at Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.

And now, according to reports from the Telegraph, former boss David Moyes is waiting in the wings to replace Pellegrini should the club pull the trigger.
Moyes was previously with the Hammers two years ago. He helped guide the club away from the relegation places to a 13th place finish after Slaven Bilic was sacked.
But it appears the Scot is ready to make a return to management if offered the chance.
Steady hand
The phrase ‘steady pair of hands’ couldn’t be more suited to a manager like Moyes.
Of course, he failed at Manchester United but that was a different beast and a job that was always going to be difficult to do well in.

But his time at both Preston and Everton previously was successful as they come, while West Ham saw first-hand what he can do in his short time with the club previously.
However, the Times also claims that Moyes will only take the Hammers job if he is offered it on a full-time basis. That would mean a commitment from the Hammers to Moyes.
A previous report had also put Enzo Maresca as one of the names in the frame to replace Pellegrini.
TBR View
West Ham could do a lot worse than Moyes, let’s be honest.
He’s a proven manager in the Premier League and has worked with some of this Hammers squad before. He knows how to make some players tick and while some of his methods are old school, they work.
Pellegrini is on borrowed time you sense. Therefore, appointing someone like Moyes could well be just the ticket for Hammers fans at the moment.
