Reported Tottenham Hotspur target Graham Potter has been described by David Moyes as a “talented young manager” who’s doing a “very good job”.
The north Londoners are currently on the lookout for a new permanent manager in wake of Jose Mourinho’s sacking, and the Brighton boss has been linked with the role.
According to a Daily Mail report earlier this month, Spurs chief scout Steve Hitchen has Potter on his shortlist, while there are others at the club who rate him highly too.

The 45-year-old made a name for himself at Ostersund, steering the Swedish club from the fourth tier to the top flight, the Swedish Cup and a Europa League run.
Potter then joined Swansea in 2019 but within the space of a year he made the step up to the Premier League by taking the Brighton reins.
He has kept the south coast club punching above their weight and has secured another season of top-flight football with three games to go.
West Ham face Brighton away on Saturday evening and Moyes waxed lyrical about his counterpart at his pre-match press conference.
“(Brighton) are trying to create their own model and I think they’re doing a very good job at it and have been for a few years,” he told football.london.
“It will be interesting to watch, Brighton are a team who I like lots of things they do. I hope they don’t do so well tomorrow night but I think Graham Potter is doing a very good job.
“He’s a talented young manager. My biggest advice to him would be keep your head down and get on with it because the job’s never easy and you never know when things can go against you.”
TBR View:
Tottenham gambled on Mourinho, the serial winner with the impressive CV, and sadly it backfired, so Spurs could do worse than going for a manager who’s in the Mauricio Pochettino mould.
Potter seems to fit the bill – a young, progressive manager with a good football philosophy who makes the most of his resources and can get players and teams punching above their weight.
