West Ham United boss David Moyes has praised Jesse Lingard for his performances in claret and blue as well as his impressive fitness levels.
The Hammers signed the Manchester United ace on loan in the January transfer window and he’s taken no time in becoming a claret and blue fan favourite.
In just six appearances for West Ham, all in the Premier League, Lingard has scored four goals and registered two assists.

The 28-year-old’s efforts have been rewarded with a spot in the England team for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers later this month.
Moyes, speaking ahead of Sunday’s Premier League meeting with Arsenal at the London Stadium, was asked by football.london how Lingard has looked in training this week.
“He has looked very good and I think since he came in everybody has been a bit surprised with how good his fitness is, how good his all-round game is,” he replied.
“I can see by the way he is working he is even getting better, his physical data has got better and overall he has been very good for us.
“He has helped us and given us another string to our bow and given us more attacking options so we are really pleased with him.”
TBR View:
Lingard has been sensational since arriving at West Ham and is proving a key player in the club’s pursuit of Champions League football.
Obviously he couldn’t play against his parent club last weekend and the Hammers suffered a setback, losing 1-0 at Old Trafford.
On the plus side, Lingard has now enjoyed a bit of a rest and should be fresh, hopefully picking up where he left off in Sunday’s meeting with Arsenal.
And then comes the international break, where he’ll hope to make his first Three Lions appearance since June 2019 – and he’s certainly earned it.
