David Moyes has praised Arsenal for the way that they fought back in their dramatic draw with West Ham on Sunday, in comments reported by Football London.
The two sides played out an incredible game at the London Stadium. The Hammers raced into a 3-0 lead inside 32 minutes.

But two own goals set up a tense finish. And Arsenal would get their equaliser towards the latter stages of the second-half to set up an exciting end to the game as both considered pushing for a winner.
Moyes was obviously disappointed with the result given the position his side got into. But he also insisted that there are some positives given the quality of the opposition as he praised Mikel Arteta’s side.

“Unfortunately, we just gave a goal away just before half-time, it was a shot that was going wide and it hits Tomas [Soucek] so that changes the game a bit but I have to say Arsenal played well and made it difficult for us in the second half,” he said, as reported by Football London.
“We are disappointed we didn’t take three points but I am not disappointed that we played against Arsenal and gave them a good game and tried to make it as hard as we can for them and challenge them right to the end.”
TBR View: Positives for both sides
There are certainly positives for both managers to take. West Ham were about as good as they have been all season in the opening stages. And they have been hugely impressive throughout the campaign.
Arsenal meanwhile, showed a lot of spirit to earn a point.
Perhaps because of their own experience of doing similar at Tottenham earlier this season, West Ham fans would have been forgiven for fearing the worst after Alexandre Lacazette’s strike went in off Tomas Soucek for the Gunners’ first.
And in some ways, that concern is testament to the quality that Arsenal possessed.
