West Ham manager David Moyes has given the clearest indication yet that he will allow Grady Diangana to stay on loan at West Brom for the remainder of the season.
Express and Star quote Moyes commenting on Diangana’s injury on loan in the context of West Ham’s own struggles.
He said: “It was a big consideration. His injury last night has put paid to him coming back. We are so short of players just now, [it’ll be] maybe a month’s time when he’s recovered.
“He’ll probably stay there until the end of the season. We think [Josh] Cullen getting games for Charlton is the best thing, too.”

TBR’s View – Far better for Diangana’s development to stay at WBA
It might have been tempting for Moyes to recall Diangana, but the winger’s development will be far better served by staying at West Brom and playing every week.
The last thing he’d have needed would have been being recalled, trying to readjust to Premier League football and then being dropped when injuries clear up at West Ham.
The pressure of the Championship promotion race will be good for his progression, playing games that matter in a team whcih depends on him.
That should mean West Ham have a real player on their hands next season, when Moyes can reap the benefits with a full pre-season to work with him too.
