The playmaker’s pass to set up Dele Alli to equalise early in the second half was inspired and the pick of the bunch of brilliant passes that he made, which went to show not only his vision, but also his quality to execute a number of incredible moves to set Tottenham on the attack.

Not just a creative influence, Eriksen helped his side out defending from the front as he looked to press when possible and was certainly not afraid to track back and help out his team-mates when Chelsea were the ones applying the pressure later on in the game, providing the all round influence that Spurs needed.
