Darwin Nunez has made a prediction about one of his Liverpool teammates.

Speaking to the Premier League on TikTok, the Uruguayan was asked to predict which Liverpool player will get the most assists this season.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is usually Liverpool’s assist king as he delivers time and time again from right-back.

However, according to Nunez, Mohamed Salah will once again top the assists charts for the Reds.

Salah got a healthy number of assists for Liverpool last season with 10, while he grabbed 12 assists the season before.

Salah actually won The Playmaker Award back in the 2021/22 season as he grabbed 13 assists for Liverpool.

Nunez thinks that the Egyptian will be a serious creative force once again this season, tipping him to get the most assists for Liverpool this term.

Mohamed Salah’s lightning start

Nunez reckons that Salah will top Liverpool’s assist charts this season, and he may not be too far wrong.

The winger has had an electric start in the Premier League this term.

Salah has already picked up three assists this season, alongside his three goals for Liverpool, and he doesn’t look like slowing down.

Simply put, Salah is perhaps the most dangerous attacking force in the Premier League right now.

Of course, Erling Haaland has scored more goals, but Salah can create something out of nothing in the way Haaland can’t.

Alexander-Arnold will eventually get going on the assists front, but it will be tough for the right-back to catch Salah this term after this brilliant start.

Who knows? Perhaps Salah’s good form will be enough to propel Liverpool to a Premier League title this season.
