Darren Bent has one word to describe Arsenal’s title chances, following win over Liverpool

Arsenal have moved back to the top of the Premier League with a fine 3-2 win over Liverpool and Darren Bent has been loving it.

The former Tottenham striker, who is a self-professed Arsenal fan, loves to take to social media to talk about the Gunners and he’s always on TalkSPORT doing the same as well during the week.

Bent, then, will have been delighted with what he saw from the Gunners this afternoon. Saka and Martinelli were the heroes, as Liverpool fell 14 points behind the Gunners in the race for the title.

And when responding to a tweet from ESPN asking if Arsenal are title contenders, Bent needed only one word in response to sum up his feelings on the Gunners as potential champions.

Bent will no doubt be eager to get himself on TalkSPORT this week as he revels in the glory of another Arsenal win.

Of course, there is a long way to go in this title race. But with many asking if Arsenal can win the league, it seems the Gunners are very much ready to prove to people they are.

TBR’s View: Arsenal Can Win The League

Make no mistake, this Arsenal side are right in the mixer here. Man City are an exceptional side as we all know but this win against Liverpool today felt different.

At the moment, they’re beating anyone in front of them and at times and making it look easy at times as well.

There’s a resilience under Mikel Arteta and the summer signings have also been superb. If Arsenal can maintain this performance level, and then perhaps another new face in January, then the title might well be coming home.

That is, of course, if Man City can find it in themselves to lose a few games.
