TalkSPORT pundit Darren Bent has claimed that he would rather have Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard in his side than Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.
The two attacking midfielders are up there with the best in the Premier League. They’re both integral to their respective sides and picking who’s better is not easy. Bent, however, is going with Odegaard all day long.

Darren Bent picks Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard over Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes
Arsenal star Martin Odegaard and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes have had fairly similar seasons so far.
The £30 million (Sky Sports) Norwegian has seven goals and four assists to his name in all competitions, while the 29-year-old United man has scored six goals and provided five assists so far.
Arsenal fans will confidently say they’d rather have Odegaard over Fernandes, while most Manchester United fans will be of the opposite opinion.
Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein, who support Arsenal and Manchester United respectively, back argued about the same on TalkSPORT.
After Bent expressed his frustration over Odegaard not shooting enough, Goldstein replied: “He’s not as good as he was (last season) either.”
Bent replied: “I’d still have him over Bruno though, I’ll tell you that.”
Goldstein then made it clear he wouldn’t, but Bent insisted that the TalkSPORT host would choose Odegaard over Fernandes if he was serious.

Martin Odegaard has been Arsenal’s best player recently
Arsenal are on a shocking run right now, aren’t they? They’ve won just one of their last seven games in all competitions.
A number of key players have been disappointing over the last few weeks, but skipper Martin Odegaard has performed brilliantly more often than not. He has been better than everyone else.
The Norwegian has seemed like the only one who has been willing to get on the ball and make something happen. He has come close to scoring on a few occasions as well.
Odegaard is definitely leading from the front for Arsenal, and it’s now time for everyone around to get their act together and perform at the required level.
