All eyes will be on North London on Sunday as Tottenham Hotspur play host to arch-rivals Arsenal at N17.

The Lilywhites and the Gunners will lock horns at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and three things will be at stake.

The first is three points, the second is local bragging rights, and the third is the chance to sabotage their rivals’ season.

Tottenham have just four points to their name, while Arsenal are already trailing Manchester City and Liverpool, making this game even more important.

There will be numerous individual battles on the N17 pitch, with players eager to stamp their mark on the game and potentially be the match-winners.

Darren Bent has now spoken about which Spurs players are likely to play a crucial role in the North London derby.

Darren Bent backs Son Heung-min to be ‘main threat’ for Tottenham against Arsenal

Bent, speaking on talkSPORT, believes Tottenham captain Son Heung-min will be the main threat against Arsenal.

James Maddison will also be key and Dominic Solanke could also play a crucial part, according to the former Spurs forward.

“Maddison, he is key,” said Bent. “Son is always the main one. I think he (Dominic Solanke) could be key as well.

“I think the main one’s with Son. When he shows up, he’s so dangerous. Just give him half a chance, and he scores. That connection with Maddison.”

How many goals has Son scored against Arsenal?

Son has become Tottenham’s main threat since Harry Kane left for Bayern Munich, and all eyes will be on him to hopefully deliver once again.

The £22million man has a good track record against Arsenal too, so he’ll certainly fancy his chances of getting on the scoresheet.

Over the years, Son has scored eight goals and registered two assists in 20 games against the Gunners.

The £190,000-a-week Tottenham forward (Spotrac) has been on the winning side six times in the North London derby.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have got the better of Tottenham eight times when he’s played. There have also been six draws.

Son had to wait a while to get his debut North London derby goal. This came at the ninth attempt, in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Arsenal in the League Cup in December 2018.
