Darren Bent has waxed lyrical about the finishing ability of Tottenham’s Harry Kane and believes he’s one of the best he has ever seen in front of goal.
The 26-year-old has been a goal machine ever since breaking into the Spurs first-team and hasn’t looked back.
He has seven goals in 10 games across all competitions so far this season despite his team struggling for form and is a talisman for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The centre-forward is also England captain and has 28 goals in 43 senior caps.
Ex-Spurs striker Bent predicts that he can break Wayne Rooney’s record of England’s top goalscorer and he finished his international career with 53 goals.
“People have seen him since he stepped onto the scene. Left foot, right foot, the technique the way he hits the ball. The absolute goalscorer,” Bent told talkSPORT when speaking about the best finishers he’s even seen.
“For me he is going to break England’s all-time goalscoring record sooner rather than later. Some of the goals he scored is outrageous. I always think back to the goal against Arsenal.”

TBR’s View:
Kane has developed into one of the best centre-forwards in the world during the last few years and should be entering the peak years of his career right now.
He has 130 Premier League goals so far during his career in 189 games and is exactly halfway to the all-time division record held by Alan Shearer.
Many feel that he could be the player to go closer to that record and Spurs fans will hope that he attempts to do that in North London.
He’s got the ability to play for any team in the world, but is a huge favourite at Spurs and the club need to match his ambitiion.
