Pundit Darren Bent had plenty of praise for Leicester City star Youri Tielemans and his team-mate Demarai Gray after the Foxes’ 3-1 victory over Burton Albion on Tuesday.
Brendan Rodgers’ side booked their place in the quarter finals of the EFL Cup, where they will face a trip to Everton, and Bent told Quest Tielemans bossed the game.
When asked by host Colin Murray to name his men of the match, Bent said: “Youri Tielemans, I thought was fantastic. He really controlled the game and for me, Demarai Gray, he looks like he’s getting back to his best.
“He was direct, created opportunities and I thought those two were the stand-out performers.”

TBR’s View – Gray must step up to the challenge laid down by Barnes and Perez
Leicester have a host of young talent but Gray is not being talked about as much as some of his team-mates because he is struggling for games in the Premier League.
He remains a hugely dangerous player with a bright future but he must respond to the gauntlet laid down by Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes out wide.
Marc Albrighton still offers discipline and quality delivery from wide while James Maddison is sometimes moved out there, so there’s no shortage of competition for Gray.
He must rise to the challenge to make good on his potential, and he couldn’t ask for a better manager than Brendan Rodgers to learn from.
