Darren Bent has claimed that Harry Kane could try leave Tottenham this summer if the team don’t finish inside the top six of the Premier League this season.
Kane, 27, has already written his name into the Spurs history books.
The centre-forward has scored 207 goals in 316 games, something which is made even more special by the fact he was developed by their academy.
But one big black mark against his name is the fact he’s never won a piece of silverware in his career.
The England captain has been covered with widespread praise and individual accolades, but he’s yet to win a first trophy.
Pundit and ex-Spurs forward Bent has suggested that this summer could be a time that Kane looks into forcing a transfer to try win silverware elsewhere.
“If they finish outside the top six this year, there would be cause for concern. He [Kane] would be looking to leave at the end of the season,” Bent told talkSPORT.
“But if they win the Europa League they’re in the Champions League, so I think he’d give it another year.”

TBR’s View:
A player of Kane’s star quality deserves to win trophies, but whether that’s achievable at Spurs remains to be seen.
Jose Mourinho’s side are sixth in the league table as it stands and face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final in April, plus they are still in the Europa League and FA Cup.
Kane has 19 goals and 14 assists this season in 29 games across all competitions, but will now face a spell on the sidelines with an ankle problem.
