Darren Bent has admitted he would love to see Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers in charge at Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has had a horrid start to this season, with his team picking up 13 points from 12 Premier League games so far to leave them 15th in the table.
The Gunners are already 10 points off the pace for Champions League football and it looks like domestically being another long frustrating campaign for supporters.
Meanwhile, 47-year-old Rodgers is enjoying great success at the King Power Stadium and his Leicester team are third in the table.
The Northern Irishman has helped the Foxes qualify for the Round of 32 this season in the Europa League, where potentially they could meet Arsenal further down the line.
With Arteta under the spotlight right now at Arsenal, pundit and Gunners supporter Bent has picked out Leicester’s senior man Rodgers as someone he’d like at the Emirates Stadium.
“I don’t think he’d leave where he’s at now, but I love Brendan Rodgers,” Bent responds when asked who could get the best out of the Arsenal squad, as quoted by talkSPORT.
“I think as a coach he always seems to improve squads. You look at what he’s done at this Leicester team, they’re playing fantastic football. I think he’d be a very good addition. Whether he’d leave Leicester now I don’t think so, but he’s one I’d love to have in the building.”

TBR’s View:
Rodgers surely has to be considered one of the best British managers around right now, as he’s continued to go from strength to strength in his career so far and has a knack of developing players to help them reach full potential.
He had spells with Watford and Reading at the start of his managerial journey, but it was with Swansea City where he started to really make a name for himself.
After that he took Liverpool so close to winning a Premier League title and enjoyed dominance in Scotland with Celtic, before taking charge at Leicester in February 2019.
He’s marked a real stamp on the current Leicester squad with a blend of youth and experience, who play some eye-catching football at times and are flexible in their systems.
