Former Liverpool midfielder Danny Murphy believes Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will be concerned by his side’s performances despite their huge Premier League winning run.
As per TalkSport, Murphy feels there are still elements of Liverpool’s performances to address despite the fact they’ve won 16 top flight games in a row.
He said of Klopp: “He will be a bit concerned. I’m all for them winning ugly, but the overall performance in recent weeks will be concerning, because a performance, if it is bad, will generally get punished.
“You play sometimes in a comfort zone; you’re playing Sheffield United away and you start the game a bit lackadaisical. You can’t keep doing that and getting away with it. The mindset has to be a bit better and sharper from Liverpool, because they have got away with it in recent weeks.”

TBR’s View – Murphy is right to highlight Liverpool’s displays but Klopp shouldn’t be too worried yet
Even against MK Dons, Liverpool needed the goalkeeper to chuck one into the net in order to open the scoring, and Dean Henderson gifted them the game on Saturday.
As long as Liverpool keep winning, Klopp won’t be too worried – and neither will the supporters – but Murphy is probably right to point out the issues that have been there of late.
The Champions League saw the Reds slip to defeat against Napoli last time around and they will need to improve if they are to get their European group stage hoodoo out of the way away from home soon.
