Danny Mills has admitted he’s concerned about Leeds United in attack and feels they have to address the problem of goalscoring.
The Whites have ripped most teams apart in the Championship so far this campaign and do sit top of the division with 17 points from eight league games.
But they would perhaps have a better points tally if they had been more ruthless in front of goal and taken their chances.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side dominated the home fixture against Derby County on Saturday at Elland Road, but poor finishing meant the visitors snatched a 91st minute equaliser through Chris Martin to draw 1-1.
The Yorkshire club are dominating possession against teams and carving through them, so should have much more than the 13 goals they have scored in eight games.
Ex-Leeds defender Mills believes that his former side may have a real problem this season if they can’t become more clinical.
“They are the best team in the Championship I feel the way that they play, the squad that they have got but they have got to prove it,” Mills told talkSPORT.
“If they don’t start scoring it’s going to be a real problem. Helder Costa has hardly had a start in the league this year . Eddie Nketiah that’s come has been scoring from the bench and scored from the cup games.”

TBR’s View:
It’s obvious that the only thing holding Leeds back right now is their attack, as they look defensively sound and appear to have improved in that area.
Patrick Bamford has been the preferred striker option so far this campaign and shown flashes of brilliance, but surely his time is running out.
He will play an important role in the promotion bid this campaign, but it would be wise to drop him to the bench at the weekend for the trip to Charlton Athletic.
Eddie Nketiah is an Arsenal loanee that is raring to go in a Leeds shirt and has shown so far he’s got the potential to rip up the Championship.
He deserved a start against Charlton and is the type of poacher centre-forward that could improve the team.
