Leeds United have recently been credited with an interest in Reading striker Danny Loader and the striker has now confirmed he is a free agent with a goodbye message to the Berkshire club on Twitter.
The pacey striker took to Twitter to confirm he was leaving the Madejski Stadium, suggesting it was now time for a ‘new chapter’ in his career.

It comes in a week where Leeds have been linked with a move for the lightning-quick attacker.
The Daily Mail reports that Leeds are ready to make a move for the free agent, who would command a compensation fee having been at Reading since he was 13-years-old.
However, it appears they face an uphill battle.
Loader is wanted by a host of other English clubs, whilst Portuguese side Vitoria are currently considered the favourites to secure his signature.
They have previously signed other England youth stars Marcus Edwards and Easah Suliman, and appear ready to repeat the trick.
Loader, who has previously been linked with Manchester United and Wolves, was handed his professional debut as a 16-year-old by Jaap Stam with the Dutchman calling him ‘a great player’ with the ability to become a first-team player, as reported by the Reading Chronicle.
His time at Reading has since been something of a mess, with constant suggestions that he was on his way out of the club.
Now he is, it remains to be seen if Leeds take a chance on this talented frontman.
